SOPH.co.,ltd.が展開するメンズブランド「ユニフォーム エクスペリメント（uniform experiment）」が、スポーツウェアやストリート系のアイテムを手掛けるカリフォルニア発のブランド「エアウォーク（AIRWALK）」とコラホ?レーションした「リップルブーツ（RIPPLE BOOTS）」を発売する。9月8日からソフの各店舗と公式オンラインストアで取り扱う。

エアウォークは、1986年にカリフォルニアでスケートボードとBMXのニーズに応えるフットウェアを取り扱うブランドとして誕生。独自のノウハウを反映した機能性の高いアイテムがプロのスケーターやスノーボーダーに愛用され、若者から支持を集めた。その後は、アクションスポーツの人気に伴い、マウンテンバイク用のアイテムや、カジュアルウェア、スノーウェア、アクセサリーなどカテゴリーを拡充している。
コラボでは、エアウォークの歴代アイテムの中でストリートシーンで特に人気の高かったリップルブーツを復刻。アッパーと中底を一緒に縫い合わせるサンクリスピーノ製法を用いることで、強度を高めつつ、柔軟な履き心地を実現した。個性的なソールのデザインが特徴で、ヒールはユニフォーム エクスペリメントのサークルロゴを型押ししてアレンジしている。ブラックとベージュの2色展開で、価格はいずれも税込2万900円。本体にはオリジナルの丸紐と平紐の2種類の靴紐が付属する。
